Very good condition; purchased in 1998 and in storage since then. It would benefit from a light clean and varnish. The surface of the painting is intact and stable with only some light scuffing in the background (which should disappear with cleaning and varnishing). The images were not edited, except to balance the lighting.
No information about the artist or the original source of the painting is available but it was executed by a talented artist. the color balance is especially effective. The canvas is mounted to the frame with metal clips suggesting it was framed mid-1900s; the canvas and frame are of the same vintage. This “saloon” style painting will look great hung in a large room (better still with a pool table!).
