This pencil signed etching is in excellent condition housed in the original frame c. 1920-30. The matt has some spots in the bottom margin and frame is lightly worn. It is in stable condition and can be hung as is.
Florence Page was an etcher, painter, and watercolorist. Two recent paintings were sold at auction in 2004; a large oil made $239 and a very small watercolor realized $285. The oil was titled The Beach at Spanish Wells (Florida?). The absence of more detailed biographical information could be attributed to a change in marital status. A little more research might reveal more about this artist and her career.
