Good condition. There has been a small repair to about an inch of the canvas at the top of the parrot’s wing. The canvas is very dry and would benefit from a surface clean and re-varnish. However, the painting looks good, as is. The frame is hand carved and a little scuffed, but can be hung and enjoyed as is.
The initials of the artist appear to be W.Y.K., but the first letter may be something else. This painting is a faithful, and very skilled copy of the Norman Rockwell painting in the collection of Peabody Essex Museum, Salem, Massachusetts.
Another Norman Rockwell copy:
The Procession, oil on canvas, signed l/r,
40″ x 30″ unframed
Estimate: $325. Offers invited.

Excellent condition. The painting is signed “L. Osbert” in the lower right corner. Nothing is known of this artist, but the original Rockwell painting was offered for sale a few years ago by Illustration House in New York City. This image and the one of the original painting compare most favorably.
