This tiny painting was discovered behind another watercolor. It was fixed to the back of an arte de visite photograph of a gentleman. The condition is excellent. The image colors and lighting do not show the watercolor to its best advantage. It should look great with a sympathetic matt and frame.

The artist may be Sir John Stirling-Maxwell who was an honorary member of the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolor (RSW).,_10th_Baronet
