Good condition; this image is laid down to board and has had water damage affecting the margins. The plate impression is very good, but the paper is a bit “wavy”. This is a clean impression and can be fully restored for a small investment. I’ve done this kind of conservation in the past but am now unable to undertake the work. After restoration, the value of this etching could be $250 to $350.

If not sold in the present state, I’ll probably take this etching to a conservator. I think it’s worth saving, even though the artist was not a big “name”. The damage occured after I purchased it, so I feel some responsibility.
